Microsoft Systems Engineer

Technology firm in the Palm Desert area has an immediate need for a Microsoft Systems Engineer.

If you are a Systems/Network Engineer with solid Microsoft Systems Administration skills, please read on!

What you need for this position:

- Strong experience as a Systems Admin in a Microsoft environment (Win 2008, AD, LDAP Directory services, etc.)
- Solid Exchange 2003/2007 experience
- Strong Linux Systems Administration skills
- Decent experience with Cisco R/S
- Experience with security issues and access control mechanisms to prevent unwanted access; Experience with Checkpoint products a plus
- Any relevant Certs are a plus (MCSE, CCNP, RHCE, etc)


What you'll be doing:

- 80-90% Systems Admin/Engineering (Windows)
- 10-20% Data & Voice Network administration & troubleshooting
- Work at the enterprise level with entire Infrastructure/Data Network Environment
- Evaluating requirements for Virtualization, disk storage allocation, redundancy, high availability and security.
- Evaluate new hardware and software management solutions in conjunction with the CIO and makes recommendations to management.
