Systems Administrator
Apex Systems San Diego is currently looking for a Systems Administrator with an Active Secret Clearance.
Candidate will provide Windows specific technical support that contributes to the Problem, Change, Configuration and Release Management Processes. Team adheres to current policies and procedures and provides guidance and research in the resolution of complex technical problems, to include serving in an advisory role (as needed) during Incident Resolution. Responsible for the creation and review of all process documentation related to the setup, configuration, management, monitoring, performance and troubleshooting of Windows servers. Bring much needed operational tools and configuration revisions to existing certified solutions into the production environment quickly

Troubleshooting
Contractor will e nsure daily backups of Virtual Windows Servers (PS, EZ, & WS) using ESX Ranger.
Configuration Management support: Validate existence of Configuration Items and ensure that they are correctly recorded; Provide accurate technical information to support all Service Management process areas
Identify and Implement emergency fixes (hotfix, Service Packs, etc.) to known Problems.
Champion the certification and release of solutions.
Define service improvement requirements and collaborate with Engineering to implement and develop solution.
Devise and create system tools when none exist or when not otherwise not available from an outside source.
Bring much needed operational tools and configuration revisions to existing certified solutions into the production environment quickly.
