Our Client is currently in need of a Data Center Network Engineer to fulfill a 12 Month contract with possible opportunity for going perm in Atlanta, GA.
The Network Engineer will be a STRONG Cisco person but will more experience on the Data Center Design side of the house.
Very detailed, network specialist that can configure and document solutions (not just equipment), provide 4th level support and escalation, needs analysis and application profiling, and project management.
Seeking a knowledgeable network professional with in-depth practicalexperience in building and supporting IP-based enterprise networks. Cisco experience is required, and mixed vendor knowledge is preferredwith experience supporting Nortel and HP network equipment. CCIE(significant work toward) or equivalent certification is a plus.Required Knowledge Areas include in-depth Routing, Switching, andQuality of Service configuration. Candidate should be very experienced, senior engineer with the following technologies and practices:
Network Design:
Ableto work with clients and customers to identify appropriate networkinfrastructure solutions and lead the deployment of such solutions

Layer Two (802.1p)
Layer Three (DSCP/CoS)
Shaping and Policing

Able to work with Vendors in managed services situations
