Manager, IT Infrastructure
This role is responsible for the design, implementation and ongoing management of the company’s IT infrastructure. This includes the administration and management of Servers (MS stack), Core Network, Voice and Data Communications, Information Security, etc. The individual will manage the staff of 3 infrastructure team members while planning for future growth.
Strategy & Planning
As a member of the IT Leadership Team, provide input into the IT strategy and how the company can leverage technology to improve business processes and create value.
Define a future vision for the IT infrastructure that closely aligns with the company’s future direction.
Create a multi-year plan to achieve the IT infrastructure vision.
Acquisition & Deployment
Collaborate in the planning, design, and deployment of new infrastructure components.
Conduct market research to identify future trends and technologies that can benefit the company.
Author RFP’s (Request for Proposal) to aid in the selection of the best products and services to meet the company’s needs.
Formal Education & Certification
Four-year college diploma or university degree in business, computer systems, or computer science
Familiarity with Lean and/or Six Sigma principles
Exposure to project management techniques (e.g. PMI) and IT service delivery frameworks (e.g. ITIL, COBIT)
5 years of IT leadership, 10 years of IT infrastructure experience and familiarity with manufacturing preferred.
Ability to work with stakeholders and work toward a common goal in a constructive and collaborative manner.
Exposure to cloud-delivered infrastructure services.
Experience managing a variety of third party vendors.
Prior hands-on experience in the administration of servers, storage and network components. (Windows Server, VMWare and Cisco experience strongly preferred.)
Direct experience defining and managing an Information Security program.
Experience with the design, development and implementation of software and hardware solutions.
Budget development and management.

Participation in on-call rotation for after-hours support if needed.
