Rate: $50/hr. on W2 (preferred but not a must)
          $55-60/hr. C2C (insurance certificate required for submission).


In this role, you will utilize your strong systems administration background with Oracle Weblogic Server 10.3 -12c to administer, monitor and maintain Apache web-servers and Weblogic application servers. You will also need to accurately monitor and maintain infrastructure that is onsite and at service provider sites. To be successful in this role, you will utilize superior verbal and written communication skills to complete effective coordination of projects with service providers and internal customers. You will also need to effectively work within a team and matrix managed environment supporting 30+ applications. Additionally, you will automate monitoring and maintenance tasks using your well-developed knowledge of various scripting languages including sh, python, perl, etc.

Mandatory Requirements:

Experience with Configuration management tools and scripting (Puppet, Ansible, CF, etc)
Experience with Tomcat application server (builds, tuning, management, etc)
Experience and understanding of SAML/SSO based technologies (PingFederate)
Experience with creating Splunk dashboards
Off hours support is required, as needed

WebLogic Admin (one of J2EE apps) –team also uses Tomcat. WebLogic is preferred but will consider someone that only has strong J2EE app servers experience in general.
Apache is Web Server – must have understanding (2.2 and 2.4 versions).
Experience with Puppet or configuration management tool
Apache using Puppet or writing Puppet Manifest

Scripting experience is required (Bash, Puppet Manifest language, YAML, Python (major ones) or familiar with other Configuration Management Tool (strong with Ansible)).

5 person rotation. Some off-hours may be required. On rotation for 1 week, then off for 4 weeks.

Will work in production environment on multiple projects.
